Our Story

LA Hot Chicken story interestingly starts around 2020 when Michael Cooper realized that the taste of the chicken that her grandmother used to cook is now mostly forgotten and not found anywhere. His grandmother prepares dishes from scratch using ingredients such as vegetables from her kitchen garden and locally produced meat and especially hand pounded spices. After marinating the chicken with those Special spices, she make chicken for him which is tender, juicy, and full of flavors that once u starts eating it you feel your stomach is full but yet crave for more.

There’s no food quite like that of his grandmother, it was while searching her old recipes he noticed that everyone thinks his grandmother’s cooking was the best but it’s no longer being passed onto the younger generations and that is how LA Hot chicken was born.

Everyone is far too busy to spend time in their kitchen, was her observation, Thus Michael decided to recreate typical recipe of his grandmother cooked over wood fire oven and using locally sourced ingredients especially hand pound spices same as his grandmother used to do and he got the exact taste and flavors. After trying it couple of times he got the taste which he enjoyed in his childhood.

Now he wants the world to Relish that Hot chicken and enjoy its taste blended with authentic flavors.
